ICPAN Dublin 2013 : Conference Education Accreditation
A certificate confirming conference attendance will be awarded to all delegates who return their conference evaluation forms post conference.
The conference evaluation will be completed on-line and returned electronically to the ICPAN board. An electronic certificate will then be sent to each delegate.
The certificate will include all education session titles. Each session will be awarded educational points. One educational unit is awarded for each 60 minutes of formal instruction. The certificate will also state the ABPANC [American Board of Perianesthesia Nursing Certification] category for CPAN/CAPA [see next paragraph]
For all attendees from USA, please note:
For those CPAN® and/or CAPA® certified nurses attending this conference, the American Board of Perianesthesia Nursing Certification, Inc. (ABPANC) will honor ICPAN education sessions as part of its recertification Continual Learning Program, which encompasses a wide spectrum of activities that ABPANC believes reflect continual learning. Each session contains a corresponding Direct Care (DC) or Indirect Care (IC) classification, indicating the number of educational units earned based on actual classroom instruction time. These international education sessions were not submitted for approval by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
For all attendees from Ireland, please note:
ICPAN Dublin 2013 will be accredited by An Board Altranais for Category 1 approval.
For all attendees from other nations, please note:
It is expected that the ICPAN Certificate of Attendance will ensure that the delegate can collect CPD [Continuous Professional Development] points in their country given that the presentation titles are named and points awarded for the time given to each session.
